Maddie’s Fund: Life-Changing, Lifesaving

Ring Dog Rescue

In 2015, Maddie’s Fund generously granted Ring Dog Rescue $9,750.00. This grant was used for life-changing and lifesaving medical procedures. Six fantastic canines benefitted from this grant, allowing them to become healthy and adoptable. Without this grant these six canines would have otherwise been euthanized due to their injuries or illness.

Sophia a female senior pit bull type dog was treated for heartworms with a total cost of $420.92.

Wally aka Bugsy an adult male pit bull type dog had his ACL surgically repaired (TPLO) for a total of $2,446.94.

Bungles a male senior pit bull type dog had his ACL surgically repaired (TPLO) for a total of $2853.71.

Lottie Dottie a senior female Pug had an FHO surgery to repair a dislocated hip totaling $1846.67.

Momma an adult female pit bull type dog received heartworm treatment totaling $465.65.

BeBee an adult female Chihuahua had her broken leg surgically repaired at a cost of $1,996.21.

The total cost of these six treatments and surgeries totaled $10,030.10 of which the Maddie’s Fund grant covered the majority.

Thank you Maddie’s Fund for giving these six wonderful dogs a chance at life. As of March 4, 2016 Sophia, Wally, Lottie Dottie, and BeBee have been adopted into loving homes. Bungles was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer, he is living out his days in a foster/hospice home, Bungles has his own Facebook page “Bucket List for Bungles” and a team of caring volunteers making sure he has an opportunity to participate in life as much as he can before it is his time. Momma is currently available for adoption.
